According to the Sleep Foundation, most adults require between seven and nine hours of shuteye every night. A good sleep not only recharges our minds and bodies but helps us stay healthy and fight diseases. And it’s not just about the amount of sleep you get, it’s about the quality of your sleep too. Emma discovered the importance of breathable bedding when she was trying to help her husband’s eczema: “He’d suffered with eczema for years, all his adult life. And like many eczema sufferers, he had terrible flare-ups which would be so sore. I realised that he was getting very hot at night and scratching at his eczema patches in his sleep. It’s then that I started researching breathable bedding, we tried Egyptian cotton first but there wasn’t any improvement, and then I discovered bamboo sheets which are anti-friction. We tried the bamboo bedding and within days his eczema had completely cleared up – I couldn’t believe it! He was happier, I was happier, we were both sleeping better, and I just knew I wanted to share these magic sheets with everyone – that’s when All About Sleep was born!"
